I have been learning to value the confusion in my life.
I embrace and celebrate it rather than run from it.

When things are difficult, when my direction is unclear
I know that I’m getting ready for something new.
A new direction or a new learning.
So I try and stay open and relaxed in those times.

It’s definitely not an easy thing to practice,
but it increases the quality of my life.

If I don’t confuse myself when I’m settled,
If I don’t disturb myself when I’m content,
If I don’t wrinkle the smooth fabric of my reality –

What shall become of me?

I may live my whole life in relative peace and die,
never knowing the goldmine I sit upon.

Such a tragedy!
